SOUND DESIGN"There is great confusion regarding what sound design is and the scope that it has in an audiovisual production.
Just as in images, shots, frames, emotions, locations, landscapes, colors, tones are recorded, sound plays a role with equal characteristics. But since this is not the predominant one in popular terms, less attention is given to the minute of starting or finishing an audiovisual production than it should be. To achieve good sound design, direct sound, dubbing , environments, sound effects and music must be created, aligned and dosed throughout the film in such a way that there is an original composition that gives the viewer the experience of being there... and in most cases, without that it stands out above the work" -Cristián Mascaró.
